For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Handson Test Manager (Payments, Jira, ServiceNow).
The Test manager is a key player in the cooperation between Stakeholders (Business and IT) and external suppliers . You drive to test complex changes happening within and across Tribes, but also delivered by our suppliers. Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial in the translation of business requirements into testcases and setting out the best strategy for testing the releases, and gradually improving the teams’ test maturity
Your key responsibilities
Improve quality by improving testing (improve and implement test strategy )
• As a test manager you will be responsible for defining and executing the test strategy (testing with a third party), and advising the Business and IT teams about how to achieve the best test results.
• By improving the quality of testing also improve the quality of the delivery, so less incidents in production and becoming predictable.
• Set up test strategy and plans together with the vendor s test manager and internal stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of proper regression testing for each release (internal as well as delivered by our suppliers)
• Drive and steer efforts to bring the quality of testing within the Payments organization and our third party to a higher level.
Ensure delivery (planning, reporting, coordination, dependencies management)
• As a test manager, you will be responsible for testing and acceptance of project requirements. You will maintain close contacts with the Business and our supplier on this. You identify and manage risks and potential issues and offer improvements across teams.
• You report bugs encountered during the E2E testing with our supplier and monitor the issue resolution process.
• Executing the test plan and providing reporting to stakeholders on multiple levels.
Making things happen by collaboration
• You are comfortable with collaboration and reaching out across Tribes and functional borders and serve as liaison when needed. You easily connect and align stakeholders within all levels of the organization, from IT Lead to IT engineer and from Tribe Lead to internal user, all with the customer journey in mind.
• You are able to perform testing in an end-to-end context covering all functional and non-functional aspects in close collaboration with multiple teams. Therefore, you demonstrate understanding of IT concepts and have significant knowledge of the IT landscape. You guide and challenge IT engineers during the process.

• Minimal 5 years of experience as an Testmanager in a complex and challenging IT environment; preferably within banking or financial services.
• Experience with agile way of working.
• A team player mindset, with a make it happen mentality, eager to learn and the ability to coach others.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (captivating, concise and audience-tailored) across different skill and seniority levels. So you must the able to advise and report on senior level as on program level.
• Knowledge of our client way of working, application landscape and network within our client are preferred.
• Knowledge of test tooling and test reporting tools f.e. Jira and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge and experience in payments (Cards) is preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to work in an international setting.
