KPN Migration Lead – Unlock Data

The Migration Lead plays a pivotal role in the Unlock Data Program, one of KPN’s most ambitious digital transformation initiatives. Positioned within the Technology Transformation pillar of the program, you will drive the migration from over 30 legacy data platforms and applications to KPN’s new Nexora Data & AI Platform. This transformation is critical to unlocking the value of data across the organization and enabling future-ready, AI-powered capabilities.

In close collaboration with other program leads for the Build, Operate, and Rationalize streams, as well as a counterpart from Deloitte, you will be jointly responsible for end-to-end migration success, from strategy to execution. A0073 the KPN representative, you will be the primary driver of all migration-related activities, ensuring technical feasibility, business alignment, and adherence to compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic sparring partner for senior stakeholders across KPN to navigate complex migration challenges and align on optimal solutions
• Define, maintain, and continuously challenge the overall migration roadmap and planning, ensuring alignment with program objectives and resource capabilities
• Lead large-scale problem-solving workshops, transforming abstract challenges into practical, supported migration solutions
• Break down high-level migration objectives into clear, actionable execution plans in collaboration with technical and business teams
• Guide and challenge the technical design and scoping process to produce well-defined work packages for the Migration Factory
• Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day execution of migration activities, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
• Serve as a central communication point for progress reporting, issue escalation, and outcome tracking to key stakeholders
• Ensure all migration efforts are conducted in full compliance with internal policies, data governance standards, and external regulatory requirements
