Our client in Amsterdam is looking for a DevOps Engineer (Java, Oracle, Linux)

Our client is looking to replace a DevOps Engineer with experience and in depth knowledge of software application development, Agile methodology as well as being a team player.

For the Cards Clearing and Settlement system, we are looking for a T-shape DevOps engineer with strong test capabilities who enjoys working in an environement of high importance to our client.

Job description:
Collaborate in Bookmakers squad following Agile Way of working;
Maintaining existing and developing new applications for Cards Clearing and Settlement;
Define test strategy, define and execute test (preferably Fitnesse knowledge), report on defects;
Learns quickly and easily shares knowledge with colleagues;
Finds a way easily through complex policies, processes and people-related organizational dynamics.

Your work environment:
You will be working within the Area Products / Cards and reporting to your IT Chapter lead within the area.
The squad consists of 10 Engineers with different backgrounds.
You will find a strong team spirit and collaboration between the different squads within the Cards area.

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years experience as a Test Engineer.
You have a proven track record in defining test strategy, designing and executing test and test automation.
Furthermore you are a DevOps engineer having knowledge and practical of the complete software lifecyle, from Java development to operations management.
You have a good knowledge and hans-on experience with Oracle and Linux.

You have good communication skills, are a quick learner and likes to share knowledge with the people you work with.
