Assignment Objective
As an Ad-Interim Product Owner, you will ensure continuity and controlled execution of:

• a supplier-managed platform, and
• an internal delivery team,

during the temporary absence of the current Product Owner.
The role focuses on facilitation, coordination, and operational ownership, while strategic and final decision-making remains with the Vakmanager.

Key Responsibilities
Supplier-Managed Platform

• Act as the operational Product Owner representing KPN
• Serve as the primary interface between KPN and the external supplier
• Coordinate:
• requirements and priorities
• roadmap alignment
• acceptance of delivered work
• Manage dependencies between supplier solutions and KPN platforms
• Monitor supplier performance, risks, and issues; prepare and initiate escalations
• Ensure compliance with:
• KPN Security Policies (KSP)
• SOC 2
• ISAE Type II (in close coordination with the Product Owner responsible for SRE)

ISAE Type II Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate ISAE Type II activities, including:
• control alignment
• evidence collection
• audit preparation and follow-up

Financial & Cloud Operations

• Handle operational financial activities:
• purchase orders
• cost tracking and budget control
• Support FinOps and AWS cost optimisation

Internal Delivery Team

• Act as Product Owner for an internal delivery team serving internal KPN stakeholders
• Facilitate day-to-day delivery and ensure smooth flow of work
• Remove impediments or escalate where necessary
• Align stakeholders and manage expectations
• Accept delivered work on behalf of the Vakmanager
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery and collaboration

Governance & Authority

• Operates under the Vakmanager / Chief Product Owner
• Responsible for:
• execution
• coordination
• transparency and reporting
• Prepares decision input, options, and risk assessments for the Vakmanager
• Acts as operational owner for ISAE Type II, aligned with the PO SRE

Required Experience & Skills (Indicative)

• Senior-level experience as a Product Owner or Delivery Lead
• Strong supplier and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience working with externally operated platforms
• Proven involvement in ISAE Type II and/or SOC audits
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and FinOps principles
• Comfortable working in regulated, enterprise-scale environments
• Pragmatic, structured, and communicative with a hands-on mindset
